Netflix is becoming practically a lobbyist group?
Netflix has made a superpac, FLIXPAC which their main goal will be to promote SOPA-like legislation.
Netflix claims that want to promote SOPA-like legislation to help stop Online-Piracy.
The only problem is the government can only stop piracy by using force and getting new powers. These powers in the SOPA-like legislation will be used to censor the internet.
Anti-Online Piracy Legislation has been lately just Anti-Internet Legislation.
The government having more power will only lead to them abusing it, and they will abuse it under the assumption that they are protecting is from piracy.
